Monkey Shoulder Scotch is a superb blended malt whisky from William Grant. It is the world’s first Triple Malt blend, using three of Speyside’s finest single malts.
 
The name “Monkey Shoulder” is actually a historical name for a strain injury that men would get from milling malted barley by hand, in the manufacture of Scotch Whisky (not, as some might think, a reference to having a monkey on your shoulder!)
 
The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whisky cocktails.
